1885, Stuttgart, Germany a book was published titled "Sketches of Russian traveler." Its author was a Bavarian princess Teopfilis S. von Baur. In her Russian journey she visited the places of residence of the Don Kalmyks. This princess told in the book. Its' "Don" impression it illustrates the engraving, which shows khurul.
Under this engraving inscription, from which it follows that khurul of "Sketches of Russian traveler" was not far from major population centers of the Don Cossacks - Martynovka. It belonged to the Kalmyk Bultukovskoy hundred, who founded the village later Denisovsky. It was located on the right bank of the river Baglaĭ.
